HOLE 1
The first is undoubtedly the most challenging opening hole in Central Ohio. This par 4 is a wonderfully straight golf hole that plays into the prevailing wind. The long to medium iron approach is slightly downhill to an undulating green surrounded by an amphitheater of trees with a deep bunker front left.

HOLE 2
The second hole focuses on accuracy. Favor the right side off the tee to avoid the pot bunker in the fairway and the bunkers guarding the left. The approach is to a narrow and deep elevated green with deep greenside bunkers short and right. If you find one of the bunkers on hole #2, expect making bogey or worse.

HOLE 3
A beautifully designed par 4 that begins a challenging stretch of holes. A stone-laden creek runs the length of the hole and comes into play on both the tee shot and second shot. Expert golfers will play a gentle draw challenging the left fairway bunkers to shorten their approaches. The downhill second shot must again avoid the creek to the right.

HOLE 4
The fourth is Wedgewood's signature par 3 and is another example of Robert Trent Jones, Jr.'s design genius. A gentle fade is preferred from the tee to avoid having to carry the beautiful mirror lake. Whether the hole location on this memorable hole is front or back-right, this intimidating tee shot will inspire you to strike the ball solidly.

HOLE 5
The fifth hole is Wedgewood's longest par 4. A gentle fade is preferred with this tee shot as the fairway slopes form left to right around a large, mature oak tree. Your second shot will likely be from an unlevel lie to an elevated green that is receptive to shots played along the ground. A par here is a welcomed relief.

HOLE 6
The first of four par 5's, the double-dogleg sixth features a meandering creek that comes into play on both the tee shot and second. Mature trees line the entirety of this picturesque golf hole. Those who challenge the right side of the fairway have a better opportunity to attack the green on their second shot.

HOLE 7
The seventh is the shortest par 4 and starts a stretch of potentially scorable golf holes. This tee shot requires precision accuracy. Favor the right side of the fairway to avoid the large fairway bunker. A well placed tee shot will allow for a short iron into a shallow green that slopes severely from back-right to front-left.

HOLE 8
The eighth is one of those great short holes - like the 12th at Augusta or the 8th at Royal Troon. With a shorter iron in hand, it is easy to think about attacking the flag, but the water along the left side of the green will have you reconsidering your line. A bunker short and right will catch those who are hesitant on their downswing.

HOLE 9
The ninth presents a final birdie opportunity on the front nine for those avoiding the large lake along the right side. Drives must avoid fairway bunkers left and the lake right. The approach into the green is well guarded by a mound and bunkers to the left and a devious bunker that lies between the lake and green.

HOLE 10
Like the opening hole, the tenth is no walk in the park. This straight hole features a narrow landing zone that slopes from left to right. The right fairway bunker must be avoided if you wish to find the green in regulation. The gorgeous, downhill second shot is played with a short to middle iron to a receptive green. Par is a wonderful score here.

Strategy must be employed from the tee as a series of 3 pot bunkers must be avoided with the tee shot. This drive is an intimidating one as it carries a bluff and is met with many hazards from the tee. An uphill second shot is, to what may be, the most difficult green on the course.

Fourteen represents the last real birdie opportunity of the day. This relatively short par 5 requires an accurate tee shot to a narrow landing area that has 3 bunkers to the right. The second shot is to a green 57 yards in depth guarded by water on the right. Distance control is a must on your approach or a 3-putt awaits.

Don't let the relative short length of this hole fool you. The fifteenth begins a wonderful stretch of challenging finishing holes. This picturesque hole will have you considering using a club other than driver off the tee for accuracy. The mounds to the left of the fairway are to be avoided along with the mature trees that line the fairway. This is the only hole at Wedgewood that does not feature a bunker.

HOLE 17
The penultimate hole at Wedgewood is it's longest par 3. You will test your long-iron or hybrid play with your tee shot to this elevated target. Large bunkers protect both sides of the green and a steep slope in the front prevents shots that are bounced up. Those who execute the tee shot properly will be rewarded with putting on the flattest green on the course.

One of the most memorable and challenging holes in Central Ohio awaits you at the final hole. This is a true three-shot par 5 as accuracy becomes a greater value the closer to the hole you get. Fairway bunkers are to be avoided on the tee shot. The second shot must avoid lakes both left and right. A well-placed second shot will position you for a challenging short iron third shot to this green that slopes from back-left to front-right.
